Industry Solutions Overview
Connect your offices
We hardly see businesses today not using the Internet. However, common usage is mails & browsing only. Not many organizations have exploited inter-branch connectivity using regular Internet links. This provides a single seamless organization LAN using IP based VPN spread across states and countries.
Moreover, the adoption of ERP and e-business models is increasing rapidly – thanks to easy availability and substantial lowering of Internet bandwidth costs. Business may be small or big, the performance of networks and related security aspects are surely the concern of every such organization. Due to this Internet connectivity, global reach of business activity and more and more dependence of business on the net, most business cannot afford any kind of security and connectivity failures.
AnexGATE family of Network Security and Secure connectivity appliances provide security, mail services with antivirus and anti spam, access control on non-work related websites, content filter and connectivity solutions using secure IP VPN technology.
With hundreds of satisfied customers, in standard as well as very specialized network environments, AnexGATE appliances are now becoming the choice of many industry verticals including ERP (SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.), manufacturing, telecom, finance and education.
Building a secure and private network over the Internet for inter-branch connectivity or for a mobile work force access, is highly affordable and leverages the power of Internet to create knowledge based organization across multiple locations. VPN creates private secure tunnels over the Internet for this connectivity.
VPN can be implemented between different branch offices using IPSEC protocol. Mobile users, while traveling to different cities can connect to their Office servers using Microsoft’s PPTP protocol. Users can access all permitted servers on the network. Applications like E-mail, databases, Intranets, Voice over IP or any other application can pass through a VPN connection.
VPN uses encrypted traffic between branches. Site-to-site authentication is done on pre-shared keys or on digital certificates. Gateway-to-gateway VPN is used for inter-branch connectivity and client-to-gateway VPN is used for mobile users to connect to corporate resources. Industry standard IPSEC protocol is used in AnexGATE for site-to-site connectivity and Microsoft PPTP protocol is being used in AnexGATE for the mobile users to connect to the corporate servers, as per access policy and controls defined in the VPN resource area.
